Accessing X-T30 III’s intelligent AUTO Mode is designed to be instant and intuitive:
Locate the lever: On the top plate of the camera, next to the shutter speed dial, find the Auto Mode Selector Lever.
Switch to AUTO: Simply rotate the lever to the AUTO position.
Create with confidence: X-T30 III will immediately analyze your frame and automatically match the mode to the subject.
Once switched on, X-T30 III handles your exposure, including shutter speed and aperture, so that you can focus entirely on composition. Whether it’s a pet sprinting across the park or a child’s graduation ceremony, X-T30 III ensures your memories are documented clearly from travel photography to images of the everyday.

While Advanced SR AUTO can automatically match the mode to your subject, X-T30 III also offers a set of specific scene positions tailored to difficult lighting or unique environments:
Portrait Enhancer: Perfect for photos of people, this mode prioritizes natural skin tones and smoothens complexion.
Action & Motion: Switch to Sport to freeze fast-moving objects, or use Fireworks to document long exposures of light displays.
Challenging Light: Use Night or Night (Tripod) for clear, low-noise evening shots; Sunset to enhance vivid oranges and reds; or Party to document indoor gatherings.
Nature & Travel: Modes like Landscape, Snow, Beach, and Underwater optimize color and exposure for specific outdoor environments.
Details: Use Flower for close-up macro photography or Text for recording documents clearly.
If you wish to set a specific scene while creating in AUTO Mode, ensure the drive dial is rotated to S (Single frame). Then, rotate the rear command dial to cycle through and select the specific scene mode.
