The Freedom to Choose
Classic design, portability, outstanding image quality, accurate autofocus… FUJIFILM X-E5 has all the hallmarks of an X Series camera. It also offers total creative control through interchangeable lenses. Tap into over 40 X Mount lenses and accessories, including the all-new XF23mmF2.8 R WR pancake optic, which is available as a kit option* with X-E5.
*FUJINON XF23mmF2.8 R WR will be available for pre-order separately.
Arriving as an optional kit pairing with X-E5, XF23mmF2.8 R WR builds on a legacy of 23mm X Series lenses – favored for its natural perspective as a full-frame equivalent.
Exceptionally Compact
XF23mmF2.8 R WR is designed to be an effortless addition to any X Series body. It’s a true pancake lens, measuring just 23mm/0.9 in and weighing 90g/3.17 oz.
Uncompromising Image Quality
XF23mmF2.8 R WR offers detailed rendering. Two aspherical elements minimize aberrations from center to edge, and an 11-blade aperture delivers beautifully rounded bokeh.
Rugged Weather-Resistance
Your creativity shouldn’t have to stop in harsh conditions. That’s why XF23mmF2.8 R WR is built to withstand moisture, dust, and below-freezing temperatures.
NOTE; FUJIFILM X-E5 body is not weather-resistant.
With a full machined-aluminum top plate, an offset EVF, and intuitive analog controls for crucial settings, X-E5 feels as good as it looks.
The camera makes traditional touches modern, like the thoughtful inclusion of a Bluetooth connectivity button on the base, just like a film rewind button; the perfect blend of digital ease and analog nostalgia.
The considered design is also evident on the XF23mmF2.8 R WR lens, which has neat touches to enhance usability.
A knurled ring at the base of the lens ensures a secure grip for easy handling, while a thin spacer between the aperture and focus rings make for simple adjustment of either setting when composing through the viewfinder.
The 2.36m dot electronic viewfinder on FUJIFILM X-E5 offers new functionality to help you frame images the way you want.
These include Surround View mode, which allows the selection of a black, semi-transparent or line outline showing the image's aspect ratio and what is outside of it to better anticipate subjects moving into the frame.
These options can be accessed via the menu, or toggled through using the lever on the front of the camera.
Also new is Classic Display mode, which offers a clean viewing experience where exposure information and battery status are all positioned at the bottom of the frame.
There's also a smaller grid of autofocus points and a metering gauge on the right-hand side, just like an analog film SLR.
