- Not only is a wide aperture great for making images with smoothly blurred backgrounds, it also makes the lens extremely versatile in low-light conditions. The wider aperture allows more light to reach the camera’s imaging sensor, which is critical to making images in dark environments.
- Every aspect of XF56mmF1.2 R’s optical construction is focused on delivering quality results. It features one aspherical and two extra low dispersion lens elements to minimize aberrations and has an additional four elements with convex surfaces to ensure even light distribution across the frame, even F1.2. This results in incredible image quality and consistency through the image, edge-to-edge.
