SHOOTING MODE
Options: P (Program), S (Shutter Priority), A (Aperture Priority), M (Manual)
This controls how much influence you have over exposure settings.
P Mode is great for quick, automatic exposure adjustments using the Exposure Compensation dial.
S Mode lets you control shutter speed and uses automatic aperture selection, keeping shutter speed at double your frame rate for smooth motion.
A Mode gives you control over the aperture while using an automatic shutter speed selection, great for depth-of-field adjustments.
M Mode provides full manual control for more advanced users who are happy to monitor and balance their own correct exposure.
FOCUS MODE
Options: Manual Focus (MF), Autofocus (AF)
Choose AF for fast, accurate focus in dynamic environments or MF for precision focusing, such as product images or cinematic storytelling.
IS MODE (Image Stabilization)
Options: OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), OIS+DIS (Digital Stabilization), OFF
For handheld, OIS+DIS provides the smoothest footage, while OIS alone is ideal for subtle stabilization with minimal cropping. Turn OFF when using a tripod to avoid unnecessary corrections.

FACE/EYE DETECTION SETTING
Options: Face, Eye, Left Eye Priority, Right Eye Priority
Ideal for vloggers and interviews, this setting ensures the camera prioritizes a subject’s face or eyes, keeping them sharp and in focus. Use Left or Right Eye Priority for artistic control over eye focus placement.
PORTRAIT ENHANCER LV
Options: Strong, Medium, Weak, Off
This applies softening to skin tones for a polished, professional look. Use Strong for a beauty effect, Medium/Weak for subtle smoothing, or Off for a natural appearance.
MICROPHONE DIRECTION SETTING
Options: Front, Rear, Front & Rear, Omnidirectional
Front is best for direct-to-camera, Rear for narration behind the camera, Front & Rear for two-way conversations when you have someone in front and behind the camera like in an interview, and Omnidirectional for recording ambient sound from all directions.
BACKGROUND DEFOCUS MODE
Creates a shallow depth-of-field effect, keeping the subject in focus while blurring the background – perfect for achieving a cinematic look without adjusting manual settings.

HIGH SPEED REC
Allows filming at up to 240fps for slow-motion playback. Great for dynamic action, sports, or creative storytelling moments.

Options: 3, 5, or 10 seconds
This gives you time to prepare before recording starts, making solo filming easier and eliminating the need for an immediate start or stop.
9:16 SHORT MOVIE MODE
Options: 15, 30, or 60 seconds
Records vertical video optimized for social media platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok. Ideal for quick, engaging content creation.
