There are two ways to create beautiful in-camera looks using X half. You can choose a Film Simulation, which are uniquely crafted to emulate historic analog film stocks. They’re not like ordinary presets, they’re based on decades of Fujifilm history, and designed to look and feel truly impactful.
X half also offers filters such as LIGHT LEAK and EXPIRED FILM, which apply an expressive aesthetic. They create effects in-camera that may take a lot of time, effort, and skill to achieve during editing.

Setting a Film Simulation on X half
Choosing a Film Simulation couldn’t be easier on X half. Current selection is shown in the vertical sub LCD, to the left of the touchscreen. Swipe up or down to scroll through available options and view an immediate preview on screen.
With ACROS, there are three more options on screen: Ye, R, and G. These apply similar results to yellow, red, and green colored lens filters respectively. When applied, they shift the appearance of opposing colors. For example, ACROS+R will darken blue skies.
If the sub LCD is showing filters, not Film Simulations, swipe the touchscreen from left to right, then tap FILM SIMULATION.
There are 13 Film Simulations inside X half. Try NOSTALGIC Neg. for a vintage feel, REALA ACE for a cinematic look, or Velvia for bold colors.

If options aren’t visible, swipe the touchscreen from left to right, then tap FILTER. Now, you can scroll through options by swiping the sub LCD up or down. Just like before, an on-screen preview will appear immediately.
X half offers 26 filter choices in total. Try FISHEYE for a unique perspective, HALATION for filmlike highlights, or VIGNETTE for a classic feel.
