Share in Print

Physical images were a beautiful part of the film photography era, and X half brings them back in ways that are easier than ever. The camera is natively compatible with select instax^TM smartphone printers, meaning you can make images and then print with no steps in between.

Create print-ready looks in-camera, then control the aesthetic of the instax^TM print itself with standard or rich colors. Make a longtime keepsake or share a memory the moment it’s recorded.

Easy, Fun Use

Nothing should stand between you and your next great image. X half is built with just enough physical features to make photography effortless yet controlled.

A fixed wide-angle lens with an Aperture Ring offers control over depth-of-field when needed. There’s also an Exposure Compensation dial, so you can make images brighter or darker with a single turn.

X half features two touchscreens – a main LCD and sub LCD – which is where most functions are accessed with ease. But, staying true to its film camera inspiration, scenes are viewed true-to-life through an optical viewfinder.

2-in-1 Images

You can create single images using X half, but 2-in-1 mode is an exciting alternative. By combining two photos, videos, or one of each into a single frame, you can showcase more of a moment and make your content stand out.

There’s a dedicated Frame Advance Lever, just like the days of film. Pull it, and you’ll be ready to create a 2-in-1 in-camera. It can also be done in-app, but either way you’ll have creative control over how the final image looks.

13 Film Simulations

FUJIFILM X Series and GFX System cameras are widely loved for their Film Simulations. These in-camera looks are built on decades of color expertise and historic analog film stocks.

Choose between vibrant Velvia, vintage CLASSIC CHROME, monochrome ACROS, and many other options. All of them deliver beautiful, timeless looks straight out of camera – no editing needed.

A Creative Edge

In addition to Film Simulations, X half gives you access to 26 filters. These apply eye-catching looks to your images and give you an extra opportunity to experiment.

Choose from filters including LIGHT LEAK, EXPIRED FILM, and DOUBLE EXPOSURE. With each, you’ll find a new way to express yourself and represent your subject in unique ways.

Photography with No Distractions

For a real analog experience, switch to Film Camera mode. You can create the digital equivalent of a roll of film, with no previewing or reviewing images and a super simple on-camera display – just you and meaningful moments.

Select 36, 54, or 72 images using the same Film Simulation or filter for a cohesive look. Once you’re done, enjoy the surprise.

Dedicated App

X half was launched with its own dedicated app, designed to get the most from the camera’s unique features and keep the process simple.

Using X half app, you can create 2-in-1 images from single photos, digitally develop and view Film Camera mode images, or share and print to instax^TM.
